Description
Every so often instead of flying home for the holidays, I'll load up the car and drive from San Diego, California to Nashville, Tennessee to visit my parents for Christmas. This particular year I was returning via Interstate 40 and pulled off the road at a roadside stop that overlooked the Laguna Peublo, not far west of Albuquerque, New Mexico. I had passed it several times in the past, but on this day I was struck by the snow on the ground and the angle of the setting sun. This image is a multiple-photo stitched panorama.

I remember this scene driving east to west along 40. No photos but the church caught my eye.
Duane Miller replied:
It was the church that caught my eye, too. I drove by it a few times before I made the plan to stop and take photos. Usually by the time you see the church, you've missed the exit for the viewpoint.
