Artist's Description
The Harpa Concert Hall, on the waterfront in downtown Reykjavik, Iceland, is a must see for anyone visiting the city. I love to wander around both inside and outside, looking for new ways to photograph this unique and beautiful building.
This shot was taken near sunset. It was late in the summer and the setting sun had broken beneath the heavy cloud cover and was creating brilliant reflections on the windows of the downtown buildings. I saw that the sun's rays were reaching for the upper windows at Harpa and hustled to get into position to capture this reflection.
About Duane Miller
I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer. Recently, I have begun traveling internationally as well and that has opened up a whole world of new photographic opportunities. I'm glad you stopped by my page to check out my images. I hope that you find something you like, and that one or more of my photographs will find a place in your home or office.
