Artist's Description
The view overlooking the Trona Pinnacles near Death Valley National Park. This had been a rainy day, but just as I arrived at this viewpoint, the sun broke through the clouds momentarily to illuminate the rock formations below.
If this landscape looks familiar, it could be because this area is a favorite of Commercial, Movie, and TV directors looking for an alien looking landscape. It's been seen in Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Planet of the Apes, and most recently on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
About Duane Miller
I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer. Recently, I have begun traveling internationally as well and that has opened up a whole world of new photographic opportunities. I'm glad you stopped by my page to check out my images. I hope that you find something you like, and that one or more of my photographs will find a place in your home or office.
