The Trona Pinnacles located near Death Valley National Park. This had been a rainy day, but the rain started to clear shortly after I arrived.
If this landscape looks familiar, it could be because this area is a favorite of Commercial, Movie, and TV directors looking for an alien looking landscape. It's been seen in Star Trek, Battlestar Galactica, Planet of the Apes, and most recently on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States.
