Artist's Description
We found this black rhinoceros standing beside the road while we were out on a game drive. He was standing there peacefully chewing on a thorn bush, but keeping a wary eye on our vehicle. Years of hard living had taken a toll on this beast; his side was scratched and scarred and he had an open wound on his neck. We watched him and he watched us and then we drove on.
