Artist's Description
As we drove into Sossusvlei each morning and afternoon, we would pass several photogenic dunes beside the road on each side. On our last day there, we stopped to photograph several of these dunes from the roadside. As the warm, early morning sunlight hit these dunes, illuminating their faces and casting the other side into shadow, the graphic details of the dunes were strongly defined. The golden hour was all too short and soon we headed back to the lodge to pack up and leave.
About Duane Miller
I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer. Recently, I have begun traveling internationally as well and that has opened up a whole world of new photographic opportunities. I'm glad you stopped by my page to check out my images. I hope that you find something you like, and that one or more of my photographs will find a place in your home or office.
