This Smith Premier No. 1 typewriter is located in one of the front rooms of the old Wheaton and Hollis Hotel in Bodie State Historic Park near Bridgeport, California. The state park preserves the old Bodie Ghost Town in a state of "arrested decay".

The Smith Premier No. 1 typewriter itself was introduced in 1890 and was manufactured in Syracuse, New York at the L.C. Smith and Brothers gun factory.

I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States.
