I was out at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas just before Christmas. It was late in the afternoon and as the sun was setting I became focused on the tide coming in down on the beach before me. I watched the water come ashore and then recede over and over. It was something about the color of the light and the texture of the water and the sand that had me mesmerized. I kept trying to capture the perfect moment with my camera. This was my favorite shot from that afternoon.

I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer. Recently, I have begun traveling internationally as well and that has opened up a whole world of new photographic opportunities. I'm glad you stopped by my page to check out my images.
