Artist's Description
This photo was taken on my first visit to Mono Lake, just east of Yosemite National Park in the Eastern Sierra mountains near the town of Lee Vining. It's a beautiful place and I was lucky that it wasn't crowded with people on this morning. I've been back a few times since, but haven't been blessed with the light that I captured this morning. This remains my favorite of my images of the lake.
