Description
I was out at the Oceanside Pier, where I often go when I feel like taking a walk. As usual I had my camera with me. I'd spent most of the afternoon taking pictures of the pelicans and egrets that liked to perch on the pier railing in hopes that some fisherman would feed them some spare bait. But I'd gotten bored with that and was headed back to my car when I came across someone with a loop of string tied between two poles. He was dipping the string in a bucket of soap solution and then holding it up into the wind to create giant soap bubbles. Of course I had to start taking pictures. I got photos of several of the bubbles, but this one stood out for me. It kind of reminded me of M.C. Escher's works with reflecting spheres.
