Jokulsarlon is far and away my favorite place in Iceland. At the iceberg lagoon you get to see ice make its final journey from the glacier to oblivion. The icebergs calve off the foot of the glacier and then spend sometimes years making their way across the lagoon until they are small enough to float out the channel between the lagoon and the North Atlantic Ocean. Once free from the lagoon, the icebergs have no chance as the ocean waves smash them back onto the rocky volcanic shore, pounding them over and over until there is nothing left but tiny shards of ice. I could spend days here photographing that journey.

I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer. Recently, I have begun traveling internationally as well and that has opened up a whole world of new photographic opportunities. I'm glad you stopped by my page to check out my images.
