This sandstone arch lies deep in the bowels of Lower Antelope Canyon just off highway 98 outside of Page, Arizona. Unlike the grand entrance to Upper Antelope Canyon located across the highway, you'd likely never find the entrance to Lower Antelope if you didn't know what you were looking for. You enter the canyon through a narrow crack in the sandstone, climb down a series of ladders set into the rock, and then work your way down the canyon going ever deeper into the earth. It's not the easy stroll that Upper Antelope is and, accordingly, gets fewer visitors and is less crowded. Both canyons are worth the visit, though, and it's not that far from the Grand Canyon.

I'm a photographic artist based near Nashville, Tennessee. I love to travel and have been from border to border and coast to coast all across the United States. And everywhere I go, I take my camera and try to capture the many beautiful sights my home country has to offer.
